  Shecky’s Girls Night Out Frequently Asked Questions:
  • When & where is Girls Night Out?
    All event details, participants, goodie bag information and ticket prices can be found on the event website.

  • Where are my tickets?
    All Deluxe Goodie Bag tickets & general admission tickets are held at the door under the ticket buyer's last name only. We never mail tickets before the event. There is no electronic ticket and you do not need to print your receipt. Please bring a state-issued photo ID to prove identification.

  • Can I redeem a special offer after I have purchased tickets?
    No, you cannot apply current tickets promotions on tickets that have already been purchased. We generally limit promotions to a pre-determined time period (2 weeks generally) once ticket sales are launched. Occasionally we will implement a special promotion after this period has ended (e.g. around holidays or special offers to members of the Junior League). However, as stated, promotions are only valid on new ticket purchases and once a purchase has been made all ticket sales are final.

  • How do I buy tickets for the next event?
    Tickets can be ordered through our secure website at any time. Tickets can also be ordered over the phone but a credit card will be required. General Admission tickets can be bought at the door the night of the event but are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly suggest buying ahead of time, as they frequently sell out.

    NOTE: Goodie Bag Tickets are usually NOT available at the door.
    NOTE: Tickets CANNOT be purchased at the door in Chicago and Boston.

  • Is the Shecky’s website secure?
    Yes, the site is secure for you to use.

  • What if I do not feel comfortable placing my order over the internet?
    Call our office (212.242.2566) and we will place the order for you over the phone. However, the order will be processed using the same secure website that consumers use and a credit card is required at the time of purchase. The other option is to purchase tickets with exact change (tax included) at our NYC office.

  • Can I pay in cash for the tickets?
    Cash purchases can be made at the door only. We cannot hold tickets ahead of time without a valid credit card. If you wish to come to our NYC office, you can purchase your tickets with exact change.

  • Can I add tickets to my order?
    Once you purchase your tickets, we are unable to “add on” to the order. You can, however, purchase additional tickets via the website.

  • When will my credit card be charged?
    Your credit card will be charged approximately 4-6 hours after you submit your ticket order.

  • Can you reserve my spot without a credit card?
    Only by purchasing tickets in person either in the office or at the event. We highly recommend purchasing the tickets online, as we can only accept exact change at our NYC office during the hours of 9am-6pm (Mon-Fri), and often sell out of tickets.

  • What if I can’t make the event but I want a friend to go in my place?
    OR
  • My friend is showing up before me and I bought the tickets, what do we do?
    If you can’t make the event and do not want someone to come in your place, unfortunately, we cannot refund your ticket. To have someone attend in your place, please follow these three steps:
         1) Make a photocopy of your state-issued ID.
         2) On the paper, please write the following: "I allow X to pick up one ticket held under my name."
         3) Sign & print your name on the bottom of the page and have your friend bring it to the event!
    If your friend(s) has this paper, they will be allowed to pick up the tickets. If not, no tickets will be released until you, the ticket buyer, arrive—no exceptions. This must be given to us at the door. There cannot be more than one of these photocopies; the entire ticket order is transferred to the person picking them up. We cannot split up ticket orders to be picked up at various times during the event. Note: This means they will have your ticket and will be responsible for distributing any extra tickets to you or your other guests. Guests can leave the event to give the extra tickets to friends as they arrive.

  • I didn’t make it to the event. Can I have a refund?
    As the website states at time of purchase, tickets are non-refundable.

  • I couldn’t attend the event, what can I do about getting my Goodie Bag?
    Unfortunately, you must be present at the event to receive your Goodie Bags. We do not ship bags after the event. If you cannot make it to the event, transfer your ticket(s) to a friend and they will be able to get your Goodie Bag(s).

  • What is in the Goodie Bag?
    Our vendors place a wide variety of beauty, fashion and paper products in the Goodie Bag; please refer to the Goodie Bag section of the website for a list of participants. Keep in mind that every Goodie Bag is different!

  • What do I need to bring to the event?
    A state-issued photo ID is required for entry. It is not necessary to bring your e-mail confirmation.

  • Can I bring my child to the event?
    All event attendees must be 21 years of age or older, and there are no exceptions to this.

  • Can I leave and re-enter the event?
    Yes, you will receive a wristband that allows you to leave and return to the event. This wristband is non-transferable.

  • Is there a coat check at the event?
    Unfortunately, we only have a coat check at select spring and fall events (not available in all cities). Where coat checks are available, we will only accept coats and will not take any bags/luggage.

  • Is there parking at the event?
    All events have limited parking available, either on the street, in a nearby garage or via valet for $10. Please refer to the event reminder email that is sent the day before the event start date for specifics on parking or check a map of the area to see nearby parking. We encourage all attendees to take public transportation or carpool to the event so you can spend more time shopping and less time finding a spot to park (and mother nature thanks you, too)!
